On October 12th in Atlanta, they hosted their anticipated event called The Kickback at The Eastern.
The Kickback's purpose is to nurture inventive thinking, artistic prowess, and career avenues for the upcoming student generation, especially those from Historically Black Colleges and Universities. It's crafted to inform and involve individuals who have a deep passion for gaming, entertainment, and tech. The Kickback showcased rising gamers, budding music artists, cutting-edge technology, and insights from renowned brands, all in a single venue.
They had a dynamic day scheduled, featuring panels sponsored by Spotify, designed to enlighten students through interactions with experts who have thrived in the realms of gaming, music, and STEAM.The Kickback also organized an esports event, a 2K tournament, where students, entrepreneurs, and influencers competed to showcase their prowess and earn the title of champion.Lastly, they featured a special performance by NLE Choppa. He performed his hit songs ‘Slut Me Out’ and ‘Walk Em Down.’ While Offset was initially advertised to perform, he was replaced by NLE Choppa at the last minute. One could speculate it's because the event coincided with his wife's birthday. Nevertheless, NLE Choppa radiated vitality and captivated the audience.
